Lunched at the Templeton on Granville for the first time in many years. Food, mac ‘n’ cheese with tomato soup was delicious, but that is not why I made the effort to again sit my ass at their lunch counter. The reason I chose the Templeton was I knew I would hear great music there. The Ramones ‘ Pet Sematary, The Stooges ‘ Wanna Be Your Dog’, Iggy’s ‘Repo Man’ and Nancy Sinatra's ‘These Boots’ to give you an idea. Fleetwood Mac and The Weeknd or whatever the fuck he is calling himself now must have their own greasy spoons playing their shit songs.
