I'm going to tell you a something or two about winter elections if that is ok with you. I have not been here in Winterio for 3 days and already I am learning shit.

First thing is beer does not go down in the snow half as fast as it does otherwise. I have a fridge still nearly full of beer but I have already moved on to rye and coke. Guess I'll have to have a free beer party before the end of the month. Ontarians will drink all your beer any month of the year.

Judging by the response I have heard from people the second thing is less than half of Ontarians will bother to vote in this election. That is what happened 3 years ago too. That means nearly everyone I talk to who claims to be undecided will have their face glued to their device du jour on Election Day. They will be playing a game, however, not engaging in democracy the way Canadians once did.  

Third thing is I am getting fucking tired of people complaining about Jagmeet Singh. I hear the same shit about him from everyone in this country. Been hearing it for years even though most people could care less who the NDP federal leader is. I know he really must step down. I know it would be best if he did so very, very soon. For once I would like to hear someone complain about Peter Julien.
