Dutifully watched the British Columbia election debate last night. As ever I wish Sonia Furstenau was still on side with my BCNDP. Her quip, a direct simple message, framing Conservative leader Rustad as wishing to bring our province back to the 20th century was spot on.
Wish David Eby had referred to Rustad as Captain Cutbacks or something. That speaks volumes about how the memeification of everything has even twisted up my thought process. Eby instead kept it civil as one might expect of a leader who is confident of victory.
